Creamy Cauliflower Soup

What you need
• Cauliflower
• Coconut oil
• Homemade broth
• Raw cashews
• Onion, chopped
• Garlic, chopped
• Himalayan salt, to taste
• Freshly ground pepper
• Seasonings of choice (I sprinkled a little but of cumin, coriander, and cinnamon in mine)

What you do
Sautée cauliflower in coconut oil on medium heat in a pot. After about 2 minutes, throw in the garlic and onion. Sautée for another minute. Add broth and bring to a rolling boil. Transfer ingredients to your blender and add your seasonings, cashews, and more coconut oil. Blend until you get your desired consistency. Serve hot. (I garnish with a sprinkling of paprika and a sprig of parsley.)

Basic Homemade Granola Recipe

What you need
• Raw oats
• Raw, unfiltered honey
• Grade B maple syrup
• Raw nuts
• Unsweetened shredded coconut
• Dried fruit

What you do
Heat oven at 300 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a baking sheet. Spread oats out into a thin layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Mix oats and bake another 5-10 minutes. Let cool before storing in an airtight container.

Coconut Ginger Iced Tea

Fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
Xylitol or Stevia
Unsweetened shredded coconut
Thai basil leaves (optional)

What you do
Boil ginger in water. Blend together coconut, Thai basil, and filtered water. Once ginger is boiled to your liking, strain ginger water into your pitcher. Add xylitol or stevia and stir, then add your coconut basil water and stir again. Let pitcher cool before putting it into your fridge. Allow tea to sit in your fridge until completely chilled before serving.
